Order Adjustment and Cancellation
Dollar Item Direct cannot accept change of shipping address requests after an order has been processed. Should you require the modification of an address (missing suite number, transposed street number etc.) please contact Customer Service immediately (within 24 hours of order transmission) at email@example.com or by phone at 866-764-3655. Should you require a complete change of "e;Ship To"e; information you will be required to cancel your order and re-enter it. Dollar Item Direct reserves the right to refuse shipment to temporary addresses without prior payment in full.
Dollar Item Direct can not accept Post Office Box addresses for shipment. We can only ship to physical street addresses. Shipping addresses must comply with commercial delivery standards used by all majors carriers, such as UPS, USPS, Federal Express, Airborne Express, DHL, and local freight companies.
In the event you desire to cancel an order, please notify us within 24 hours of order placement. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 866-764-3655. Please provide the Order number and reason. If you desire to cancel an order after the 24 hour period, it is probable that the order will have been processed. If the shipment can be canceled, we will cancel the order. If not, the return policy and a 20% restocking fee will be in effect with return shipping charges applicable. This is because we pay to have your order pulled and boxed up.
Shipping is charged as follows:
$19.95 for all orders totaling less than $100.
Shipping on all orders between $101-2500.00, Approximately 15% Orders $2501-5000=9%, Orders $5001-7500=7%, Orders $7501-10,000=5%, Orders $10,000 and above=Free Shipping. Rates are good for the contiguous United States. Additional charges will apply to Alaksa and Hawaii. All export orders will be custom quoted to freight forwarder or U.S. Port. Shipping adjustments will be made after checkout.
Certain restrictions apply for heavyweight, breakable, glass, liquid, and oversize items which may need to ship via trucking company.
You will be notified before your order ships if additional shipping charges apply.
Shipping is not a profit center for us. We try very hard to find the most competitive shipping rates available. If you are concerned about the shipping cost of your order please feel free to call us at 866-764-3655 and a customer service representative will discuss shipping options with you. Keep in mind that shipping is less expensive if you order a pallet or more.
Delivery Times and Requirements
Upon receipt of an order Dollar Item Direct processes the order within 48 hours. Shipping confirmation emails will be sent to you when your products leave the warehouses. Dollar Item Direct in all cases tries to expedite all orders in a timely fashion.
Some products (such as pallets over 500 lbs.) may require shipping via common carrier. Delivery time for orders exceeding 500 lbs. may take longer to ship. A Dollar Item Direct representative will contact you as to the actual ship time and coordinate the arrival of the shipment with you.
Customers shall be advised as to backordered products or out of stock products which may no longer be available.
Backordered and Discontinued Products
You will be notified immediately of any product that may be backordered. If the product you ordered has been discontinued or is no longer available from the supplier, we will contact you to offer a substitute product: or, if you choose, you may cancel your original order. Although Dollar Item Direct has high ranking of consumer satisfaction, everything does not always go according to plan. We know that... sometimes orders are short shipped... sometimes merchandise is broken... sometimes the wrong product is sent. When that happens, we have the following returns policy. Please read carefully as it is strictly enforced.
Dollar Item Direct guarantees full credit for product only or, if available, replacement for all defective items. You may return a defective product up to 14 days after you receive it. NO REFUNDS WILL BE AUTHORIZED AFTER 14 DAYS. Case lots must be returned in the original shipping carton with all individual items unopened. No partial returns will be accepted. All shipping costs for merchandise authorized by Dollar Item Direct to be returned to Dollar Item Direct shall be at the customer's expense. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) which is good for 14 days. No returns will be accepted without an RMA#. This policy is strictly enforced.
"e;Closeout"e; products purchased are "e;final sales"e; and can not be returned.

The liability of Dollar Item Direct for losses or damages, arising out of any cause whatsoever, is limited to full refund of the purchase price or at our option, repair or replacement of the product(s). Dollar Item Direct shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you
If you decide to return undamaged or non-defective products, you will be responsible for a 20% restocking fee.
The company is not responsible for typographical error or omissions relating to pricing, copy, photography or application. In the event of a pricing error you will be contacted via e-mail, facsimile or USPS Mail with the corrected pricing information.
